Accion is a global non-profit on a mission to create a fair and inclusive economy for the nearly two billion people not served by global financial systems.

Since 1961, Accion has helped build 267 financial service providers serving low-income clients in 75 countries, reaching 440 million people.

Project Focus

Shell Foundation is working in partnership with Accion to manage the Climate and Finance Innovations Alliance (ClimaFii), which aims to drive impact at scale by supporting Financial Solutions Providers serving energy SMEs.
